Keaton & Kahlo

Charlott Diefenthal from Cologne, Germany studied at Bretton Hall College before forming Theatre Babel.
Chris Squire, who studied Performing Arts in Leicester,  joined soon after and the group toured extensively through Europe.
Together they formed Impossible Theatre after Babel disolved, and both worked extensively with IOU Theatre and others, as well as producing and touring a range of richly phyical and visual shows.

We have now moved beyond theatre to combine innovation with involvement, creating a wide range of innovative participatory, installation, digital and live arts events, and working with a pool of talented artists and many fantastic collaborators including:

Producer of video products for commercial, public sector and community clients. Creator of your Video Tutorials boosting editing skills with After Effects and Final Cut Pro. Host of Expert Conversations, talking face to face with experts in film related subjects. Maker of pop-art portraits with a Warhol-Me web site. Provider of old-skool sizzle for moviemakers with a 8mm Distress Kit.
Spannerman Daniel Weaver   Performer, Composer and SpannerMan
Performer and composer for theatre, dance and circus. Toured UK, Europe and the Middle East with Solo shows, Bands and Theatre work. Has made music from recycled and found objects for 3 decades including lo-fi electronics and scrap materials. Known for entertaining and experimental work that appeals widely and fits well into given briefs - made dozens of scores for theatre and dance using traditional instruments and electronics production tools. Organised art and music events including small festivals so familiar with the needs of promoters. Also work in schools and special needs settings using the mediums of sound and movement.
Spencer Spencer Roberts   Huddersfield University profile
A practising artist working with physical electronics as a material form of expression and interested in the confluences between art, design, philosophy and technology. He teaches programming languages, electronic interfacing and physical computing at Huddersfield University, providing final year students with dissertation support and help to philosophically contextualise their practice. Also part of the Research into Practice cluster at the University of Hertfordshire, exploring the relationship between 'practice-based' research and more traditional modes of enquiry. Research is primarily informed by the work of Henri Bergson and Gilles Deleuze.

Over 10 years developing screen based projects for a fantastic and diverse range of clients. Of course the focus is varied and can be just as much based on cost, deadline or audience as delivery method; web 2.0, social networking, motion graphics or interactive environments, we're not afraid of getting involved - art in education, software, training, youth dance, community film-making, carpentry! mptye organises a film festival too, LiFF.

Bryan Tweddle

Bryan Tweddle   Things
Artist, designer and maker, has created aluminium angels, a submarine rising through a gallery floor, a giant head in a shed, a mind-reading donkey and lots more.  As well as devising, designing and building visual elements for performance and exhibition, Bryan creates public sculpture and works with community groups.  He is the Artistic Director of Nuit des Lampion in Luxembourg and the Festival of Light in Trier, Germany.
Steve Gumbley Steven Gumbley
Visual artist who loves making artworks for particular places. Co-founder of I.O.U. and contributor to many other companies, he has designed and presented theatre and events throughout Europe.  Steven also creates public art commissions, exhibition design, sculpture and large-scale photographs. His recent work includes set design for The Great Gatsby, a public bus shelter at Malham for Chrysalis Arts and a mobile Museum of Ice Cream. 
Mandeep Samra Mandeep Samra
A visual artist specialising in film, sound and experimental media. Collaborated with various arts organisations based in Yorkshire to deliver a series of exciting projects, which have showcased established and new emerging artists from this region and beyond. She is particularly interested in developing collaborative projects that profile the expertise and experience of contemporary South Asian arts practice locally, nationally and internationally.
